Bishnupur, March 12 2025: A two-day national seminar on "Emerging trends in technology and sustainability perspective from environmental science, basic science and humanities" commenced on Wednesday at the conference hall of Thambal Marik College, Oinam in Bishnupur district.

The inaugural function of the seminar jointly organised by Institutional Research Committee (IRC), Thambal Marik College and Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC), Takyelpat under the sponsorship of Directorate of Environment and Climate Change.

It was attended by MASTEC member secretary and Science and Technology secretary Kengoo Zuringla, Dhanamanjuri University former vice chancellor Prof N Rajmuhon, Thambal Marik College principal professor Kh Mohon, Manipur University Department of Physics professor S Dorenjit and School of Human and Environmental Science dean professor S Jibonkumar as presidium members.

Organising committee secretary Dr L Baleshwor informed that a total of 120 delegates have registered for the two-day seminar, where they will present their papers and make the most of the programme.
