Imphal, January 08 2025: A free eye camp organised jointly by various clubs, meira paibi groups, All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO), and Yaima Eye Hospital, was conducted on Wednesday at Morok Ingkhol in Khundrakpam assembly constituency.

The camp is being held in connection with the 32nd Foundation Day of AMUCO, which falls on February 12 .

The inaugural function of the camp, organised in collaboration with Morok Ingkhol Youth Development Club (MYDC), was attended by AMUCO president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang, vice president MM Thambou, secretary finance Mo-mocha Takhellambam and executive member Maibam Premjit alias Thabi.

Speaking at the event, Nando Luwang highlighted that, following the distribution of winter crop seeds to farmers across the state, the free eye camp, along with the free distribution of spectacles, was launched in connection with the upcoming foundation day of AMUCO.

A total of 120 people availed free consultation and checking services during the camp with spectacles distributed to those in need.
