No dengue case reported in Moreh

Moreh, December 06 2021:
Assistant malaria officer (AMO), Tengnoupal District (Moreh) Kamei Khamchungpu Rongmei has stated that no new cases of dengue have been reported in Moreh town in last two days.
Speaking to media, Khamchungpu informed that State Malaria Department and District Malaria Department have been taking strict measures to provide protection against dengue since report of two dengue cases in Moreh on October 26 .
Fogging and spraying of larvicide were taken up in areas where dengue case's were reported.
House to house awareness was conducted to ensure no mosquito breeding takes place inside houses.
Due to the constant efforts dengue cases have subsided in Moreh, he added.
Khamchungpu informed that from October 26 to December 4 a total of 114 dengue cases were reported.
But on December 5 and Sunday no cases were found with nine suspected cases tested on Sunday also turning negative.
Presently, there are no dengue patients in Sub-District Hospital Moreh.
The department will continue to visit houses where dengue cases have been reported to check if anyone is suffering from fever, he said.
