MNBA concludes church leaders conference

A four-day "Church Leaders' Conference" organised by Maring Naga Baptist Association (MNBA) concluded successfully at Minou Baptist Church in Tengnoupal district on Saturday.
Hosted by the Minou Baptist Church, the event held from October 2 to 5 saw the participation of 300 leaders from 31 local MNBA churches.
Director of Discipleship Network Asia pastor K Morungkung, and Minou Baptist Church pastor reverend Dr Mk Koshilning served as the main speakers and resource persons.
The conference centred on the theme "Go and Make Disciples" (Matt 28:19), focusing on the need to realign church missions with the Great Commission of Christ.
The speakers emphasised on paradigm shift in mission work, advocating for a return to Christ's model of discipleship, which remains effective today as it did 2,000 years ago.
The conference was sponsored by Cornerstone Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas, USA, in support of missions for building God's kingdom.
In a press statement, MNBA executive secretary reverend Dr L Kothil Danghsha expressed gratitude for the successful event and highlighted the importance of continuing Christ's mission of disciple-making in today 's world.
