Avail loan, repay in time: Hemo

Imphal, June 05 2022: Maintaining that having a good financial discipline could ensure economic stability in the society, Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Limited chairman cum managing director Thokchom Hemo has called for cultivating a good financial discipline by repaying loans in time and regularly.

Addressing a press meet at the company's office here on Sunday, Hemo said that availing loan from individuals, banks or financial institutions has become an integral part of human society and it helps in bringing growth, development and stability in the economy if there is good financial discipline.

It is time to give up the mentality of not repaying loans as such practices will become an issue in providing loan to sincere people, he said.

Financial freedom for the youth is a must in order to bring economic emancipation of the state, the chairman said while urging banks and financial institutions to make financial assistance accessible to all at low interest.

Borrowers too should have proper knowledge of credit score and how it impacts them in availing credit facility.

Without a good credit score, one cannot get loans at low interest.

Their only option to get Ioan is from individual money lender, who charges them high interest rate, he said.
