Imphal, February 05 2025: As part of the security measures in Moreh town, search operations were conducted in different localities of the border town on Wednesday, during which over a hundred people were verified.

As per a police source, a combined team led by Moreh additional SP (Qps) Md Riyajuddin, under the supervision of Tengnoupal SP, comprising BSF and Assam Rifles conducted the search operations across the border town from 6 am till 8.30 am.

Search operations were conducted at Moreh Tali road, 6 Nepali Basti, Muslim Basti and Chingdong Leikai.

During the search operations; a total 113 residents of 48 households including 45 females were verified one-by-one and checked their citizenship IDs.

However, no one was arrested during the search operations.
