Noney launches deworming programme

Noney, October 03 2024: A district-level launch programme and workshop on National Deworming Day, organised by Child Health Division, District Health Society, Noney, took place on Thursday at Noney Primary Health Centre (PHC).

Dr Zianthuiilung Kamei, CMO Noney, launched the deworming programme in the presence of Dr Azin Maringmei, district programme officer National Leprosy Eradication, Noney, and Dr Soihiamliu Gonmei, district nodal officer Child Health, Noney.

Deworming tablets will be administered to students at schools, while children missed at the village level will receive treatment from ASHAs and Anganwadi workers.

The launch programme was attended by doctors, nurses, ASHAs, ASHA facilitators, and other healthcare workers.
