Conflict testimony of Govt incompetence: MLA Noorul

Kshetrigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan has contended that the inability to find solution to the nearly two-year conflict in the state underscores incompetency of the present government.
Speaking at the 1st foundation day of Borayangbi youth Progressive Alliance (BYPA) held at Borayangbi Thongkhong Market on Sunday, MLA Noorul alleged that maladministration of the present government is the primary factor for regression of the state.
While reflecting on harmony and age-old fraternal bond between the Meetei and Meitei Pangal communities, he also stressed the need for the 34/35 recognised indigenous communities of the state to contribute their mite in restoring peace so that the state can head towards development.
The programme was also attended by Manipur Police Training College (MPTC), Pangei assistant director Abdul Kalam, FOCS president Th Manihar, Meitei Pangal Eegi Khonggul Liba Foundation Committee president BM Yaima, Borayangbi Gram Panchayat chairman Th Romesh.
Manipur Women Federation (MWF) secretary T Demona, Madrasa Ziaul Uloom, and Borayangbi 'mohtamim' Moulana Habibullah among others.
As part of the programme, BYPA distributed farmer cards to 76 farmers, while Manipur Peoples' Defence Force (MPDF) handed over sprayer pumps for farmers under BYPA.
The annual calendar of BYPA was also released on the occasion.
