Foundation laid for Noney hospital

Imphal, November 30 2021:
Chief minister N Biren Singh laid the foundation stone for construction of a 50-bedded Prefabricated Field Hospital at Longmai Part-I in Noney district on Tuesday.
The hospital will be set up under the National Health Mission of State Health Society at an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 crore.
Briefly speaking at the event, the CM informed that the state government had also sanctioned construction of three others similar hospitals in Kamjong, Pherzawl and Tengnoupal districts while assuring that construction work for the said healthcare facilities would be started very soon.
According to the CM, the pre-fabricated field hospital in Noney is being targeted for completion by March 31, 2022 .
The chief minister was accompanied by Works minister Thongam Biswajit, Education minister Sorokhaibam Rajen, Tribal Affairs and Hills minister Vungzagin Valte, Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba and advisor to chief minister Paonam Brojen during his visit.
