Maram Bn extends aid to orphanage

Senapati, January 31 2022:
In its continuous efforts and relentless outreach to help the people in this challenging time of COVID-19 pandemic, Maram Battalion of Jwalamukhi sector/IGAR(E) distributed Ration and essential commodities to Maraoni Orphanage in View Land Colony, Senapati district.
The Maraoni Orphanage is a local Orphanage run by Maraoni.
In spite of being recognised as an orphan centre at state level, not much of assistance is being received by the orphanage, report stated.
In the times of COVID, necessity of supporting the staff and young children of the orphanage were felt by the battalion and essential support was rendered in the form of ration, medicines and other essential commodities.
The battalion assuredjhem of all possible help in these trying and testing times of COVID.
It was also emphasised that children and staff should follow the COVID protocols to remain safe and assured them of all possible help during any medical emergency.
The young boys of the orphanage already in their intermediate and graduation were motivated to join Defence Forces and were assured of support in their future endeavours.
