Wangdei Primary School inaugurated

Imphal, May 29 2022: Uripok MLA Khwairakpam Raghumani Singh on Sunday inaugurated the Wangdei Primary School at Wangdei Meetei Leikai Langol.

The inaugural function organised by Wangdei Meetei Leikai Development Committee was attended by Raghumani as chief guest and Wangdei Meetei Leikai Development Committee, Langol president H Ibotombi Khuman as president, while Zone I zonal education officer (ZEO) Sucheta Khumukcham and United Committee Manipur president Joychandra Konthoujam were present as guests of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Raghumani expressed that although the construction of the school started in 2017 under the aegis ofZEO Zone-1, he is satisfied that despite taking a time the school has been finally completed.

He also noted that as the school is new there will be some deficiencies and urged the ZEO Zone I to address the same, while assuring that he will also do his best level to fill up the requirements.

The MLA further appealed to the locals to support the newly opened school and send their children to the school instead of admitting them in private schools.
