Imphal, December 27 2024: Under the aegis of CRPF Manipur & Nagaland Sector IG Dr Vipul Kumar and supervision of 86 Battalion CRPF commandant Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, the Battalion conducted civic action programme at Karuangmuan Nungtek and Marangching Part-IV village in Noney district.

In a release, 86 battalion deputy commandant Kiyam Rajiv Singh informed that the programme commenced by paying homage to former Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh followed by distribution of CAP HDPE water supply pipes and sports items to the villagers of Karuangmuan Nungtek and Marangching Part-IV respectively.

A meeting was also held with the youth of the villages.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, commandant Saurabh Choudhary conveyed that the distribution was made with the aim to improve the quality of life of the villagers and also to create a positive re -lationship with the people of the villages.

The villagers also extended their heartfelt gratitude towards the Battalion and expressed hope that similar events would continue in coming future, the deputy commandant added.
