Imphal, August 26 2021: Manipur University has invited online application for admission to Bachelor of Education (BEd) first semester for the session 2021-22 .

In a notification, MU assistant registrar S Budhabati Devi informed that candidates with at least 50 per cent marks either in the Bachelor's degree or in the Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55 per cent or any other equivalent would be eligible for admission to the programme.

The relaxation in the qualifying marks in favour of reserved categories shall be as per the rules of central government.

Interested candidates may submit online application forms at Manipur University website (www.manipuruniv.ac.in).

An application fee of Rs 300 for UR/OBC and Rs 200 for ST/SC candidates are to be paid online.

The notification further informed that online submission of application has been started on August 26 and last date of online submission will be on September 15 .

Offline submission of application form will not be acceptable in any case, the notification added.
