MASTEC painting competition results out

Imphal, December 22 2021: The results of an on-the-spot painting competition organised by Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) on December 21 as part of the activities of the Year of Awareness on Science & Health (YASH) focusing on Covid-19 have been declared.

In the senior category (class IX to X), Daulas Lambamayum of St George High School, Wangkhei; Presila Heikrujam of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lamphelpat; and Yaikhombi Loitongbam, also of KV, Lamphelpat won the first, second and third position respectively, while Rib-irthson Maibam of Wangkhei High Shool, Wangkhei and Juliana Thoidingjam of KV, Lamphelpat have been selected for consolation prizes.

In the Junior category (Class VI-VIII), Angela Heiukrujam of KV, Lamphelpat; Julian Loitongbam of KV, Langjing; and Rajluxmi Moirangthem of Diligent Public School, Moirang won the top three positions respectively, while Sunaina Saikhom of KV, Lamphelpat and Yaiphaba Ningthoujam of Wangkhei High School would be getting consolation prizes.

In the Sub-junior category (class III to V), Bikrama Lourembam of The Comprehensive School, Oinam won the first position and Irungbam Arbin Meitei of Mother' Pride Academy, Kwasiphai bagged the second position while Minerva Thoidingjam of KV, Langjing secured the third position.

Khumukcham Chaoremba Singh of KV, Lamphelpat and Aheibam Suriya of Little Flower School, Imphal have been selected for the consolation prizes in this category.

Cash prizes and certificates will be distributed to the winners of the competition in a function to be held at the training hall of MASTEC, Takyelpat on December 23 at 2.30 pm .
