BSF distributes essential items under CAP

Imphal, November 22 2021:
Under its civic action programme (CAP), 182 Bn Border Security Force (BSF) Koirengei distributed essential items to various villages under Kangpokpi, imphal East and Kamjong districts.
Items such as Water Purifier (RO), Sintex potable water tank and standard plastic buckets were provided to Carmel Jyoti Orphanage Home while street light with accessories were given to Phuramakhong and Maphou Kuki villages.
According to a statement, computer set along with work station, printer and UPS were provided to Tumukhong, Moirangpurel Khunnou Leikai and Oksu village; profile sheet and steel tube to Nongdam Kuki village; and water supply pipes to Thangchingpokpi and Nongdam Tangkhul villages.
The distribution programme was organised at Carmel Jyoti Orphanage Home, Moirangpurel and Maphou Kuki village, said the statement, adding that the items were received by Moirangpurel village member Thasana Leima, Maphou Kuki village chief Lunkholal, Tumukhong village member Asharani Devi, Thangchingpokpi village chief Solomon Jajo, Nongdam Kuki village chief Jarigkhplun Lupeng, Nongdam Tangkhul village chief Wungreiso Jajo and Oksu village member M Bilashini in the presence of villagers and troops of 182 Bn BSF.
Commandant Bipin Kumar thanked the villagers for giving the opportunity to serve them and assured of further assistance in the future.
