Noney, June 22 2021: An online legal awareness programme for para-legal volunteers (PLVs), NGOs, student organisations, local clubs, etc, of Tamenglong and Noney districts organised by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Tamenglong was held on Tuesday.

As resource persons of the programme, Imphal West District & Sessions Judge, Aribam Guneshwor, who is also chairman of DLSA, Tamenglong, panel lawyer of Manipur State Legal Services Authority Ch Momon Singh and Imphal West Civil Judge (Junior Division) Dr Laishram Rina Devi elaborated to the participants on the topic "Challenges faced by various stakeholders in the administration of criminal justice amidst COVID-19 pandemic with special focus on Arrest, Remand and Bail" .

The PLVs of different legal aid clinics of Tamenglong and Noney districts also raised a number of common queries during the online legal awareness programme.
