Armed Forces Veterans' Day observed at Bishnupur, Jiribam

Bishnupur/Jiribam, January 14 2025: 9th Armed Forces Veterans' Day was observed by district ad ministration, Bishnupur in collaboration with Zilla Sainik Board, Bishnupur to honour ex-servicemen for their service to the country at DC Bishnupur conference hall, New Mini Secretariat Complex on Tuesday.

The programme was attended by Bishnupur DC Lourembam Bikram and Zilla Sainik Board, Bishnupur members.

In connection with the observance, Bishupur DC L Bikram thanked the ex-servicemen for their sacrifice for the country and presented them with stoles and simple gifts.

Similarly, 9th Armed Forces Veterans' Day was observed by district administration, Jiribam at the conference hall of DC Office, Jiribam in which Jiribam DC Krishna Kumar felicitated various ex-servicemen of Jiribam district.

Speaking on the occasion, Jiribam DC Krishna Kumar extended his gratitude to the ex-servicemen who served the country in various capacities in the armed forces and added that it is because of their services the people of the country are living peacefully.

DC Krishna Kumar also interacted with the ex-servicemen and heard their grievances.
