AMRPSWA calls for end to BoSEM row

Expressing concern over potential adverse impacts of the ongoing crisis in Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) on the upcoming Class X (matriculation) examination, All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has appealed to the relevant authorities to resolve the issue immediately.
In a release, AMRPSWA secretary Romen Singh said that students are already facing myriad inconveniences due to the conflict in the state including concern about the fate of students awaiting their matriculation examination.
Pointing out that process in underway for form fill-up for the exam usually conducted in mid-February, he lamented that the on going pen-down strike by BoSEM staffers is hindering smooth process for correcting students' names and dates of birth.
The secretary also cautioned that in case the BoSEM office remains paralysed, the same will affect the career and demoralise the students.
As such, on behalf of the Association, Romen appealed to the authorities concerned to look into the matter and resolve the crisis within short notice.
