IAS, MCS officers to scan premier hospitals

Imphal, June 12 2021:
With a view to strengthen coordination between the departments concerned and four major Covid hospitals in the state and to ensure flawless operation in these healthcare institutions, the government has assigned 12 IAS and MCS officers.
As per an order issued by DP special secretary Ningthoujam Geoffrey on Friday, A Subhas Singh, K Bono Singh and Peter Salam will oversee management of Covid patients in RIMS hospital on four hourly rotation from 8 am to 8 pm whereas H Balkrishna Singh, Nivedita Lairenlakpam, Ngangom Uttam Singh would be responsible for the same in JNIMS hospital.
For Shija Hospitals, the officers include L Nandakumar Singh, L Bikram and Ng Bhogendra Meitei while the officers for Raj Medicity are Ranjan Yumnam, Neeta Arambam and T Phulen Meitei.
The order stated that the officers will be stationed near Covid wards in the designated Green Zone of the hospital and facilitate proper liaising between the hospital and the state government so that there is smooth flow of information.
The task of the officers will be until further orders, it said.
