Kakching, April 09 2022: Along with releasing three books, the closing function of the 42nd college week of United College Lambung, Chandel was held at its multipurpose hall on Saturday.

The valedictory function of the college week and book releasing programme was attended by University and Higher Education director Dr Rangitabali Waikhom as chief guest, additional director (U) P Shantikumar Singh MCS as functional president and joint director (U) T Ojit Singh as guest of honour.

Dr Phomrong Hongsa's book titled 'Kamala Das, The Indian Monoroe, Feminist Perspective', Solomon Nungchim Moyon's book 'Unleash your super writing power and Naorem Sharat Singh's book titled 'Socio-Economic and Fertility Level of Chandel people in Manipur' were also released to commemorate the event.

Addressing as chief guest, Dr Rangitabli noted that colleges located in outlaying areas of Manipur are filled with inadequacies.

There are also several inadequacies in United College Chandel, she noted, while assuring of filling up the inadequacies.

She also urged the teachers to sincerely educate the students.
