Kangpokpi Bar Assn marks 2nd foundation day with elections

Kangpokpi, October 05 2024: The Kangpokpi District Bar Association marked its 2nd Foundation Day with a solemn yet impactful event at the Kangpokpi court complex.

Addressing the gathering, association president advocate Seikholen Lupho emphasised the importance of collective .effort and innovation in strengthening the association's future.

He also announced the end of the current executive body's term, as outlined in the All Manipur Bar Association (AMBA) rules, thus, officially dissolving the precious leadership.

The highlight of the day was the seamless transition of power, as the election committee conducted fresh elections for the 2024-2026 term.

The newly elected leaders took their oaths and received certificates of election.

The newly elected office bearers for the term 2024-2026 included advocate Seikholen Lupho (president); advocate Jangkhogin Haokip (vice-president); advocate Kaiminlun Chongloi (secretary); advocate S Paul Touthang (assistant secretary); advocate Kimneilhing Kipgen (treasurer); and advocate Thangjalen Khongsai and advocate Laljangam Haingshing (auditors).

The entire process of the election was overseen by returning officer advocate Lamneichong Haokip, presiding officer advocate Lamkhovah Kipgen, and committee member advocate ST Vaiphei.
