Nursing officer remembered, medical kits donated

The Bosconians of 2000 batch of Don Bosco High School, Churachandpur remembered their alumna Chinneiching, a nursing officer at Sushruta Trauma Centre, LNJP, New Delhi, who died on May 1 while treating COVID-19 patients.
In remembrance of her selfless service in the fight against the coronavirus, the Don Bosco alumni donated one suction machine and one D-type filled oxygen cylinder, besides other equipment, to the Churachandpur District Hospital for use by the Highland Groups whose members are taking care of those under home isolation.
The donated items were received by the hospital's medical superintendent Dr Vanlalkungi.
Chinneiching was a Bosconian, who passed her class X examination in 2000 from Don Bosco High School, Churachandpur, worked as nursing officer at Sushruta Trauma Centre.
She got infected with COVID-19 while treating many positive patients.
She was admitted to BSF Hospital Chatterpur, New Delhi, on May 2 where her husband works.
Her conditions worsened and she was taken to Burari Hospital by an ambulance but succumbed on the way on May 7 .
Chinneiching was laid to rest on May 8 at Alpha & Omega Christian Cemetery, Mangolpuri under the aegis of New Testament Baptist Church, New Delhi.
Chinneiching was always true to her commitment and remained a real frontline worker till her very last breath.
She is survived by husband S Dousanglian and a daughter.
