Imphal, December 31 2021: A five-day long capacity building programme for teachers on 'Multilingual approach at the preparatory stage (primary) for Manipur' jointly organised by North East Regional Institute of Education, Shillong and Directorate of SCERT, Manipur concluded at the SCERT multipurpose hall, Lamphelpat, here on Friday.

SCERT joint dir Jim G Thingujam and NERIE staff Dr Ch Sarjubala attended the closing ceremony as the presidium members.

The programme was organised with the objective of creating awareness on linguistic and cultural diversity among the teachers and to build their capacity to conduct multilingual classrooms.

Altogether 30 teachers participated in the programme.
