AMGSU mourns death of its advisor

Imphal, August 28 2022: All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) has condoled the untimely demise of its advisor Madan Kumar Limbu (62) following a brief illness on Saturday.

In a release, AMGSU stated that Madan was founder cum managing director of The Froebel English School, Kanglatongbi which he established in the year 1987 .

He had also worked in many organisations including president of AMGSU Kanglatongbi in 1991-92, AMGSU Silver Jubilee Celebration Committee secretary in 1992, etc., apart from being AMGSU Central Committee advisor from 2017-22.AMGSU Advisory Board members and officials visited his residence near The Froebel English School and paid their last respect on Saturday.

Thousands of students, guardians, relatives, ex-students, friends and well-wishers also paid tributes to the deceased, it added.
