People's Day observed in different districts

Imphal, January 27 2023: The Hill Leaders' Day and Meeyamgi Numit (People's Day) were organised in different districts including Kamjong, Tengnoupal, Kakching and Noney by the respective district administrations on Friday.

For Kamjong district, the event was held at Kamjong town hall under the aegis of district administration.

DC Rangnamei Rang Peter, SP Manjit, top police and civil officials and other district level officers of the various government departments in the district attended the event.

CMO Kamjong also catered to the numerous health-related grievances on the spot.

A capacity launching programme for the youth of the district was also launched by the dignitaries on the occasion.

Kakching district administration also organised the sixth "Meeyamgi Numit" at the Kakching DC office complex where altogether 28 departments opened their stalls for delivering public services and addressing public grievances.

The January edition of Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders' Day for Noney district was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Longmai-III, Noney.

PHED Noney division, district cooperative Office, district police, district industries centre, handloom & textiles department, medical department, department of social welfare and ICDS cell Noney opened stalls at the event to provide services to the people.

The sixth "District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit" in respect of Tengnoupal district was held at the Conference Hall of Tengnoupal DC.

DC, SDO of Tengnoupal, Machi, Moreh and other district level officers and officials of all the line departments of the district interacted and assisted those who turned up for availing beneficiary schemes.
