10th triennial fellowship of TNBA concludes

Senapati, February 26 2023: The 10th triennial fellowship of Thangal Naga Baptist Association (TNBA) that began from February 24 under the theme, "A call to Christian maturity" concluded at Thangal Surung village on Sunday.

The valedictory programme was attended by TNBA executive secretary Cheijinba Rakhangmi, TNBA president S Graceson, Mayangkhang Baptist Church pastor Dr Majulong, S Kanan Veng Baptist Church pastor Thangneo, 13 church delegates under TNBA, officials of Thangal Union, Thangal Students' Union, Thangal Women's Union, Thangal chiefs and other well wishers.

Choir groups of Mayangkhang, Tagaramphung Nteiramphung and M Ningthoupham Baptist Churches presented inspiring songs during the fellowship.

Bible quiz competition in two categories, class XII and below and above Class XII ,was conducted along with a choral competition on "By grace are ye saved" as a part of the programme with Sadar Hills ADC ex-vice chairman Thangkam Misao as special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Thangkam Misao expressed gratitude to Thangal Naga tribe for providing land to set up villages like Thangkanphai, Thangkan Thanglunpa and Mongbung.

The present and future generations would not forget what the Thangal Naga community had done, he added.

In the choral competition, M Ningthoupham Baptist Church (B) bagged the first position and Mayangkhang Baptist Church (B) second prize while M Ningthoupham Baptist Church (A) received the third prize.
