New question pattern, design from 2026: BOSEM chairman

Imphal, March 21 2025: A two-day workshop on 'Competency based question bank development' organised by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) under the aegis of the PARAKH-NCERT, New Delhi commenced from Friday at the conference hall of BOSEM.

Regarding the workshop being participated by around 90 subject experts, BOSEM chairman, Akham Joykumar said there is high hope that the workshop will benefit students immensely.

After completion of the workshop, there will be some changes in question pattern and design with BOSEM targeting to implement the new question pattern and design from the year 2026.He said that the new question pattern and design will enhance competency than the previous system and it will definitely help the students.

The inaugural session of the workshop was also attended by BOSEM secretary S Jitenlal and controller of examinations Ayam Thoi.
