Six-year old Chandel boy donates to Licypriya's crowdfund

Imphal, May 20 2021: Palungvar Vipeto Sengul, son of Rev Sng Nelson & Villy Kiho, did something most adults would find very difficult and improbable.

The six-year old boy from Lambung village in Chandel district, inspired by Manipur's very own role-model Licypriya Kangujam, decided to donate the entire savings from his piggy bank.

The total amount of Rs 1180 was Palungvar's savings for a new Spider Man costume but he believed the money would be best used for fighting Covid-19 .

Licypriya's crowd sourcing has already raised more than Rs 73 lakh and the young environmental activist continues to inspire hundreds of youngsters like Palungvar.

Meanwhile, Wisecrabs - Chandel said that it is proud of such selfless, generous, and kind act by its youngest member, and quoted the young hero's words "Together, we can fight COVID-19" .
