Over 300 attend Health fair in Singhat AC

Churachandpur, April 20 2022: The District Health Society, Churachandpur in collaboration with National Health Missionorganised a Health Mela as part of observance of Azadi Ka Amrit.

The first block level Health Mela was held at Suangdoh on Tuesday.

Singhat MLA Chinlunthang, who inaugurated the Fair at Behiang Zougal Memorial High School, expressed gratitude to SDO/BDO Suangdoh Namlalung Gangmei and District Health Society, Ccpur and National Health Mission for conducting the Block Health and also highlighted benefits that public would get from the fair.

He appealed to government employees including medical staff to work for the welfare of public with utmost sincerity.

More than 10 stalls including consultation and examination rooms were opened at the Health Mela, which was also attended by Suangdoh SDO/BDO Namlalung Gangmei.

More than 300 people turned up to avail healthcare service facilitated at the fair during which med icines were also distributed free of cost.

Meanwhile, BDO Lanva Block, Churachandpur Kaigoulal Kipgen inaugu rated a Block Health Mela at LM Academy, Lanva block in Churachandpur district in the presence of District Social Welfare Officer, Churachandpur Tamphasana on Wednesday.
