Stay vigilant against troublesome people: Y Erabot

Wangkhei AC MLA Y Erabot has urged the people to stay vigilant against elements, who have been making trouble ever since they stepped into politics and only looking out for their interests the whole time.
The MLA was speaking on the sidelines of a Ningol Chakkouba event organised for the women folk of Polling Station no.8 in Ward no 23 of Imphal Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Friday.
Erabot informed that efforts are on to deliver benefits of different central and state government schemes to the.
people of the constituency.
CMHT and PMJAY cards for 169 people from Ward nos.21, 22, 23 and 26 have been prepared and will soon be distributed.
Amidst this, some intending candidates have been writing applications to avail the health cards, which should have never been done in the first place, especially when he/she has come forward to contest the polls to serve the people.
Thus, the MLA cautioned the people of Wangkhei AC to remain vigilant against such candidates.
Erabot then conveyed that steps would be taken up to distribute old age and widow pensions, along with sponsoring unemployed youth under the Start-Up scheme, housing scheme and provision of ration cards to deserving beneficiaries.
The event was also attended by BJP Manipur VP N Nimbus, general secretary P Premananda, state secretary Kongkham Bikram, BJP Wangkhei Mandal general secretary N Ramani and other office bearers of the party.
