Best of AMMIK preliminary round held

Thoubal, December 18 2021: With an objective to shortlist participants from Thoubal district for the 17th Best of AMMIK to be held on January 15; Apunba Manipur Matam Isei Kanglup (AMMIK), Thoubal District and Okram Youth Club jointly organised the preliminary round of the musical competition at Thoubal Okram Lampak on Saturday.

Moirangthem Samananda of Heirok Part-I won first position, Amrika Sorokkaibam of Wangbal Lamboithong secured secord position and Laishram Arjun of Khangabok Bazar was declared the third position winner in the preliminary round.

They will participate in the state level mega final which will-be held on January 15 in Imphal.

The singing competition was attended by Khangabok A/C MLA O Surjakumar, TMC Ward No 1 councillor O Inaotombi Devi, AMMIK president Kh Thoiba, general secretary Mayengbam Dhananjoy, Paradise English School founder Dr N Ranjit and Athokpam Indane Gas proprietor O Budhi as presidium members.

Certificates were handed over to the winners.

Moreover, Surma Chanu presented gifts to 4th, 5th and 6th position holders of the competition as a mark of encouragement.
