Kuki Gospel singer gifted two-wheeler

Kpi, October 18 2021: 20-year-old Kuki gospel singer Kimneineng Kipgen, whose hit song 'O Hinkho' garnered over 1 million views on YouTube, was presented a two-wheeler as part of promoting artistes by the NexG Super Trading Company; Manipur Team.

The bestowal ceremony of Kimneineng Kipgen popularly known as Aneng Kipgen was held at Saparmeina public ground on Sunday evening in the presence of various prominent Kuki leaders, leaders of civil society organisations of Sadar Hills, Kuki gospel artistes, village chiefs and Church leaders.

Kammang Lhouvum (retired IDES), an intending candidate from 51-Saitu AC, attended the event as chief guest while Saparmeina village chief Mangkeng Kipgen was functional president.

Dr Lamtinthang Haokip, another intending candidate from Saitu AC, L Khomunnom village chief Lunthang Haokip and former ADC Sadar Hills members along with eight other social workers attended the event as guests of honour.

Civil society leaders including KSO Sadar Hills president Satminthang Kipgen, general secretary Thangtinlen Haokip, TSA Sadar Hills president Tolminthang Misao and general secretary Seiminlal Lhouvum, social worker Vahboi Kipgen and other CSO leaders and social workers were also present as special guests.

During the ceremony, NexG Super Trading Company, Manipur Team gifted the Gospel singer a two-wheeler (Activa) while KBC Centre Church pastor Rev Henkhomang dedicated the vehicle and offered a blessing for the talented singer.
