Jiribam SDM sets deadline to clear NH-37

Imphal, February 18 2025: Jiribam SDO/SDM Laishram Roshan Singh has notified all landowners, who have received compensation amount, to remove all structures/buildings, etc., situated in the Right of Way (ROW) of NH-37 expansion within February 23, failing which such structures shall be removed without further notice using police force.

In a notice issued on February 14, the SDO/SDM informed that notification was issued as per the directive of Jiribam deputy commissioner for carrying out eviction of all the structures/buildings that falls under the ROW along the NH-37 (Pkg-7) within the jurisdiction of Jiribam sub-division on the stretch of land acquired for highway expansion.
