AMRPSWA proposes admission processes within August

Expressing concern that the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic could lead to losing of academic career of students, All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has urged authorities concerned to promote Class X students and ensure commencement of the admission process to the next class within August.
In a release, AMRPSWA secretary W Surjit stated that the association has been taking up initiatives for bringing quality education and not to make students lose their precious academic career.
He recalled that a proposal had been submitted to state education director and education commissioner on Tuesday highlighting the strategies to save the academic career of the students.
In the proposal, the association urged for promoting Class X students to the next class within August so as to start classes through online mode at the earliest.
It also urged for cancellation of HSLC examination so as to start the class and also provide ways to give marks statement for promotion, he continued, while adding that the results of the students should be declared after assessing marks obtained during the Class IX final and the Class X preboard examinations.
Surjit further urged the education minister to advise the department concerned so as to save the precious academic career of the students.
