Imphal, December 15 2024: Assam Rifles on Thursday distributed school uniforms and sweets to the 17 children of Ema Foundation in Imphal West district, highlighting its commitment in fostering education and stability in sensitive regions, especially amidst the ongoing challenges in the state.

According to a statement issued by PRO IGAR (S), the event, held at the Foundation, was attended by Assam Rifles personnel alongside the staffers and children of the orphanage, situated in Keithelmanbi.

The Foundation provides shelter and education to children aged 6 to 14, serving as a cornerstone of hope in a region marked by socio-political tension, added the PRO .
