Imphal, January 14 2025: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute (SHRI) Pvt Ltd and Manipur University jointly organised a cervical cancer screening and awareness programme at the Health Centre, MU on Tuesday.

In a release, SHRI AGM-business development Premjit Lourembam informed that the event focused on raising awareness and promoting early detection among faculty members and students.

During the programme attended by 50 persons including university staff and students, Shija Hospitals consultant obstetrician & gynaecologist Dr Dipenty Lairenjam delivered a detailed presentation on cervical cancer, covering its causes, risk factors, symptoms, preventive measures, and treatment options, it added.
