Senapati, March 12 2025: Senapati district administration has provided 40 CGI sheets as immediate relief for Tunggam UJB School, which suffered substantial damage during a severe storm oh March 2 .

The relief materials were handed over to the chief executive officer of Autonomous District Council, Senapati, on Wednesday to facilitate the urgent repair of the damaged school building.

According to reports, the storm caused extensive destruction, including the complete loss of the school's roof, leaving the structure severely compromised.

Following the incident, a detailed inquiry was conducted by the sub-divisional officer, Paomata.

The findings were subsequently presented during a District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) meeting on March 11, where it was approved for submission to the state level for further relief assistance in accordance with established guidelines.
