Naoriya to get household tap water by Dec

While inspecting sites for four water supply projects to be taken up under Jal Jeevan Mission in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa assembly constituency, MLA S Kebi said that efforts are being made to complete these projects by December this year and provide tap water connection to every household of the constituency.
During her inspection visit, the MLA laid the foundation stone for a new water supply project at Hiyangthang Makha Leikai and inspected Kodompokpi Mamang Leikai WSS, which has been lying defunct, Malom Tuliyaima and Malom Tulihal WSS (to be expanded) and Meitram WSS (new project).
She said that the project cost is Rs 8.09 crore for Hiyangthang Makha Leikai WSS, Rs 3.36 crore for Kodompokpi Mamang Leikai, Rs 6.50 crore for Meitram, Rs 4.65 crore for Malom Tulihal and Rs 4.24 crore for Malom Tuliyaima WSS.
Bishnu Prakash R Punglia Limited is the work agency for these projects, she revealed, while urging the agency to complete the projects before the targeted deadline.
The MLA also galled upon the people of her constituency to leave behind political enmity and con tribute towards leading Naoriya Pakhanglakpa in the path of development while assuring of putting her best efforts in serving the public.
