Bpr, June 08 2022: Nambol Block Congress Committee felicitated Wairokpam Punshiba Singh of Nambol Thunaojam, who cleared Civil Services Examination-2021 conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and ranked 238, during a function held at the office of the committee, Nambol Chingmang on Wednesday.

Former Nambol MLA N Loken Singh, who was chief guest of the event, said that he felt proud when a student from Gram Panchayat area cleared the most competitive UPSC exam and Punshiba has showcased that hard work and determination yield success.

He also said that role of parents is enormous in ensuring success of their children in highly competitive exam conducted by UPSC.

He also advised Punshiba to take part and contribute towards making a new Manipur.

The felicitation function was also attended by Nambol Block Congress Committee vice president L Biramani Singh, Nambol Municipal Council ex chairperson H Somorendro Singh, ex-chairperson L Pateshwori Devi, Leimapokpam Zilla Parishad member L Jiten Sihgh and social worker Pakchao Singh of Leimapokpam Khunpham.
