COHSEM convenes meet ahead of HSE 2024

Imphal, February 08 2024: Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) convened a joint meeting of supervising officers (SOs), officers in-charge (OCs) and inspectors cum flying squad members on Thursday to discuss matters related with the ensuing class XI and Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2024.The meeting, held at Johnstone Higher Secondary School, was conducted in two sessions with the first attended by officials of hill districts and the second by officials of valley districts.

In the meeting, COHSEM chairman Takhellambam Ojit said that SOs and OCs have crucial roles to play in examination and urged school principals to be proactive in ensuring proper conduct of the examinations.

He also advised the officials to follow the guidelines issued by the Council from time to time, while understanding their roles, duties and power.

COHSEM secretary Kh Ash-ikumar, controller of examinations O Joy and Johnstone Higher Secondary School vice principal P Nilakumari attended the meeting as members on the dais.

The Class XI and HSE 2024 examinations are scheduled to begin from February 20 and 21 respectively.
