Awareness prog on cooperative business model held

Kakching, December 05 2021: National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI)-Cooperative Education Field Project, Thoubal organised an awareness programme on Cooperative Business Model and an essay writing competition at Langmeidong Higher Secondary School on December 3.The programme sponsored by NCUI-New Delhi was attended by Manipur State Cooperative Union Imphal vice president and NCUI-Governing Council member Jeena Potshangbam as chief guest and Langmeidong Higher Secondary School principal Urikhinbam Kunjo as president, while Cooperative Societies Manipur former deputy registrar Kh Tomba Singh, social worker Yumnam Samuremba and NCUI-CEFP Thoubal project officer Th Pahari were present as guests of honour.

The essay writing competition held under the topic 'Income Generation Through Co-Operative' was participated by 25 students with Langmeidong Higher Secondary School's Kakchingtabam Priyaluxmi winning the first position, Thokchom Jeena Devi securing the second position and Nongthombam Monika Devi coming third.
