Love is the greatest religion of all: Radheshyam

Thoubal, August 04 2021: Heirok AC MLA Thokchom Radheshyam has stated that love is the greatest of all religions in the world.

He made the statement while donating edible items to inmates of Community Home Isolation Centre Heirok along with BJP women volunteers of Polling No 33/28 (Heirok Part-II Doctor Sang Mamang) on Wednesday.

The MLA said that no one wants to be in pain and as such, there is no greater thing other than helping those in need.

Love for others will help bring peace and progress in the society, he added.

Radheshyam further said that he is able to stand before the people as their MLA because of their love, adding that he is only the messenger while the people are the ones in action.

The MLA then assured of taking up more developmental works in Heirok constituency including blacktopping of Salungpham Sagi Ningel; roads in Heirok Part (I), (II) and (III) and Heirok-Inganglok, in addition to installing street lamps along the roads.

The MLA also assured to install high mass lighting poles in Heirok Keithel, Heirok CHC and Shikhong Sekmai as soon as possible, while urging the people to work together for the development of the constituency.
