ABVP leader visits Manipur, interacts with athletes

Imphal, January 03 2025: All India in-charge of ABVP Khelo Bharat initiative Pradeep Sekhawat arrived here on Friday on three-day state visit.

Soon after arrival, Pradeep Sekhawat interacted with athletes of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and inspired them to strive for excellence in their respective discipline.

The interaction programme was attended by several dignitaries including SAI, Imphal assistant director Lajing L Maring, Khelo Bharat Manipur in-charge Santosh Laishram and cricketer Rajkumari Linthoinganbi.

They encouraged the athletes to focus on discipline, determination and hard work to achieve greater heights in sports.

During the interaction, Pradeep Sekhawat emphasised the role of sports in fostering unity and development among youth.

He urged the athletes to not only aim for personal achievements but also contribute to building a stronger and vibrant sports culture in Manipur.
