Rakesh Naorem's 'Use Me' bags award

Manipuri filmmaker Rakesh Naorem, who produced and directed a three-minute short film 'Use Me (Eibu Sijinnabiyuj' has been presented with the Best Director In Manipuri award at the 2nd Pulari International Film Festival 2024 held at Artech Cinemas, Trivandrum, Kerala on Sunday.
In a release, IPAK Films Production Manipur informed that the Festival was organised by film news & entertainment network IPTV Channel with Rakesh Naorem honoured for IPAK Films' 'Use Me', which spreads the message of protecting rivers from pollution by discarding waste at designated places and use of dustbin.
The awards ceremony was attended by Pulari TV, Kerala CEO Gitrus Yohannan, eminent Indian film directors Suresh Unnithan, Jollymas, Dr Pramod Payyannur and music director Ronnie Raphel as guests.
The film's story is written by Rakesh Naorem and Huidrom Suresh, cinematography by Nagendra, edited by Romi Lamabam and Rakesh Naorem, Moirangthem Oken, Huidrom Marlin and Laishram Bijayalakshmi as the main protagonists.
