Kakching, October 30 2024: Actress singer Sushmita Mangsatabam inaugurated Spice Hotel and Resort, Wangjing Bazar on Wednesday.

The inauguration programme was also attended by retired chief medical officer Dr Kshetrimayum Manglem and Wangjing Lamding Bazar Shopkeepers' Association executive member Likmabam Ashokkumar.

According to Spice Hotel and Resort proprietor Nahakpam Babulin, Thoubal has multiple tourist spots such as Khongjom War Memorial Complex but bereft of compatible hotels where tourists can stay.

As such the hotel has been established to cater to such demands, he said, adding that hotel will not only have exotic foods and comfortable rooms but also provide facility for hosting birthday party, social gathering, family outing, corporate party, seminar, workshop, conference, product launch, etc., with maximum of capacity for 50 people.
