RK Imo inaugurates new club building

Imphal, November 22 2021: Sagolband MLA RK Imo inaugurated newly constructed building of Mayai Koibi Mamang Leikai Development Association (MMLDA) and renovated building of Pakhangba Huyel Lallong Shindamshang (PAHULASI) at Mayai Koibi under Sagolband assembly constituency on Monday.

Attending as chief guest of the event, RK Imo said that the club building was constructed from his local area development fund and the inauguration was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Though Mayai Koibi is located at the outskirt of the constituency, he is taking up equal development programmes in the area like anywhere in his constituency.

He also said that potable water in the area will be improved once the overhead tank at Tera is commissioned.

While contending that the development work he is taking up is not related with election but for the welfare of the public, he also urged the people of Sagolband AC to choose the candidate between those who come out at the time of elections and those serving the public continuously.

Emphasising on the importance of promoting indigenous art and culture, RK Imo also assured of his assistance in further improving the condition of PAHULASI, whose building was renovated with his local area development fund.

MMLDA president Nameirakpam Heramani, IMC Ward no 10 former corporator Salam Tiken, IMC Ward no 7 former corporator RK Jiten, MLLDA advisor Khongkham Bhimo and local elders attended the programmes as dais members.
