DC Kangpokpi meets DLOs

Kangpokpi, July 21 2022: Deputy Commissioner Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla, IAS, today met with District Level Officers (DLOs) to discuss the preparation and execution strategies for the Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) campaign to be held as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Discussion was also held with officers of Government Departments regarding the final arrangements of District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyam Gi Numit to be held on Friday at Sadbhavna Mandap, Kangpokpi.

Speaking on the occasion, Kengoo Zuringla stated that National flags will be hoisted across the district from August 13 to 15, 2022 .

"The Office of the Divisional Forest Officer will make arrangements of the sticks for the flags and in case institutions require sticks then the numbers of requirements have to be intimated to the DC Office by July 28, 2022", she added.

She also informed that various activities will be held as part of the campaign including painting and slogan writing competition in schools and colleges from August 8 to 12 .

"Hoardings will be put up at five locations namely Gamgiphai, Yaikongpao, Motbung, Leikop and Kangpokpi HQ", said the DC while adding that wall painting on relevant themes, historical figures or events among others will also be carried out.

Regarding the District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyam Gi Numit, Kengoo Zuringla asked the Government departments to address the grievances of the people and give maximum services without any delay.
