Web portal launched

Imphal, July 20 2022: Commerce and Industry Min-ister Nemcha Kipgen launched a web portal eodbmanipur.mn.gov.in for Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) at her office at New Secretariat, today.

The web portal will simplify and rationalize regulatory processes (registration and inspection processes) and introduce information technology to make governance more efficient.

After the launch, the Minister browsed and got hands-on experience of the website.

Nemcha Kipgen, while launching the portal, stated that in this fast competitive digital era, this web portal will issue factory permits, factory licenses, mining leases and mining permits at the click of a button .

The Minister informed that various reforms have been taken up by the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh to improve State's ranking in EoDB.

Enactment of Manipur Public Services Delivery Guarantee Act, 2021, Manipur Industrial Single Window Clearance Act, 2021 and Manipur Factories Rules,2021, Manipur Public Services Delivery Guarantee Act, 2021, Manipur Industrial Single Window Clearance Act, 2021, Online Single Window Clearance System and Manipur Factories Rules,2021 are some of the measures taken up by the State Government, she added.
