MLA Deben rues inadequacies in Kakching district

Kakching, April 20 2022:
As a part of 100 days action plan of the state government and observance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, District Health Society, Kakching organised block health mela (fair) at Yumbimacha High School ground community hall on Wednesday.
The inaugural function of the fair was attended by Wabagai MLA Usham Deben, Kakching SP Shree Vats, CMO Dr Th Rajen, Senior Citizens Kakching president N Nimai and Kakching DC Somorjit Salam as presidium members.
In his address, MLA Deben lauded staffers of the district health society for their roles during Covid-19 pandemic and assured all possible assistance to them.
Though Kakching has been declared as a full-fledged revenue district, there are several inadequacies in the district, he pointed out, while urging the people to extend support in the government's endeavours in addressing the shortcomings.
During the programme, officials concerned briefed the gathering on how to identify adulterated products while Ayush department officials presented demonstrations on different yoga postures and their health benefits.
Moreover, the public were advised to enrol and avail benefits of CMHT.
Health centres which bagged KAYA KALP awards and Women Covid -19 vac cination champions were also honoured on the occasion.
