Political meeting held; BJP campaign launched

Thoubal, December 19 2021:
A meeting of Lotus Club and Kamal Sakhi Club Committee was organised by Election Management Committee Wangkhem Mandal of intending BJP candidate Kharibam Jiban Singh at Charangpat Maning Leikai community hall on Sunday.
Speaking at the programme, Jiban elaborated on the responsibility of Lotus Club and Kamal Sakhi Club Committee in the development of Wangkhem AC.
He appealed to the Club and the Committee to ensure that benefits of various welfare schemes introduced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government reach the targeted section of the society.
Jiban also stated that Wangkhem AC is lagging behind in development for which voters of the constituency need to elect the right candidate in the upcoming assembly election for a progressive assembly constituency.
He further emphasised that if elected, he will focus on education sector, development of farmers and labourers.
Meanwhile, a poster campaign was held as part of 'Eigi Emung, BJP Gi Emung' campaign under the aegis of Kharibam Jiban in Charangpat Maning Leikai.
Similarly, a poster and sticker campaign was organised by BJP Thoubal Mandal and intending candidate of BJP in Thoubal AC Konsam Michael in various houses in Thoubal AC as part of launch of 'Eigi Emung, BJP gi Emung' campaign.
The campaign conducted with an aim to create awareness on various welfare schemes and developmental works taken up by the BJP led state and Union governments was launched by BJP Thoubal District president Yumnam Kumarjit for Thoubal AC from Thoubal Achouba on Sunday.
Under the 'Eigi Emung, BJP Ei Emung' campaign which was launched on December 16, BJP Thoubal District hoisted party flags in houses of local residents under Wangkhem A/ C on Saturday.
The campaign began by hoisting of BJP flag at the residence of district president Yumnam Kumarjit located at Thoubal Kiyam Lai Haraobam.
The campaign was attended by Thoubal District vice president Sh Japan Singh, FM Islaouddin, general secretary N Opendro Singh, secretary W Nina Devi, BJYM Thoubal District president Th Jiten Singh and members of BJP Thoubal District.
A poster campaign was also held as a part of the campaign.
